ROYAL VISIT 2017
On the final day of the 2017 World Cup competitions, Lassalyckan welcomed a royal visitor. His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf, who had watched Saturday’s public celebration on TV, now wanted to experience the legendary atmosphere in person.

By bringing the world’s top winter athletes and the International Cross-Country Skiing World Cup to one of Sweden’s most densely populated regions, we aim to inspire more people to participate in, support, and experience winter sports at their best.

BIGGER THAN THE WORLD CUP

The World Cup Ulricehamn is made possible thanks to a unique collaboration between clubs, volunteers, and corporate partners. Through this unique commitment and collaboration, we can offer world-class winter sports—and a vibrant club community. The event is organized by Ulricehamn Ski Event AB and owned by Ulricehamns IF. All profits are reinvested in the organization, with a focus on inspiring more young people to enjoy physical activity and providing greater opportunities for young athletes pursuing elite-level competition. Since its inception, World Cup Ulricehamn has invested over 3.5 million kronor in local community organizations.
