DO YOU WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
The world’s best cross-country skiers at the starting line and thousands of fans lining the course. Behind them are hundreds of dedicated and proud people who make sure everything runs smoothly. Ahead of 2027, we need about 700 officials and volunteers who, together, will create a World Cup weekend to remember. Do you want to be one of them?

As a volunteer, you’ll become part of the team behind the World Cup Ulricehamn. You’ll meet new people, get an up-close look at the event, and help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for skaters, spectators, and the media. But above all, you’ll make memories that last a lifetime—which is why the majority of our volunteers come back year after year.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE?
A World Cup event requires a wide range of skills and tasks before, during, and after the competition days. When you sign up, you can indicate which areas you’d most like to help with. We’ll then do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible.

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE?
You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer as a staff member.
HOW MANY DAYS DO I NEED TO BE AVAILABLE TO HELP?
You can sign up even if you can't work the entire competition weekend, but those who can help for three days or more will be given priority. The greatest need for volunteers is during the competition weekend itself.
WILL I RECEIVE TRAINING FOR MY JOB?
Yes. Leading up to the World Cup, we organize both group meetings and role-specific sessions, both in person and online. The goal is for you to feel confident in your role and know what’s expected of you when the time comes.
DO I NEED EMAIL?
Yes. You need an email address to register as a volunteer, since important information about the event will be sent via email.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The World Cup takes place outdoors in March, so dress warmly and feel free to layer your clothing. Well-broken-in, warm shoes are also a good idea, since some of the work takes place outdoors and on uneven ground.
